What clothing should I wear?
Wear clothing that is comfortable to walk in and, this being Seattle, wear layers! The Trolleys are open air on the sides so be prepared to feel the wind in your hair!
Where and how do I buy tickets?
We HIGHLY recommend you purchase your ticket at least two days in advance and there are many ways to do that! See below.
We accept credit/debit cards but do not accept cash or American Express.
For users with an iPhone or Android phone, we have a brand new Emerald City Trolley app available in the app store! Use our app to track the trolleys, view our brochure, or click the link to purchase tickets! This app will help you find our stops and see how far away the next trolley is.

Seattle Center Booth is located at the base of the Space Needle. It looks like a mini trolley!

Open mid June-September 24th. 9am-5pm.

Can we bring food and drinks on the tour?
Yes! You can bring food and drinks on board or purchase anything at one of the many eateries you will see during our Downtown Seattle Hop-on/Hop-Off Trolley Tour. We recommend bringing bottled water on board the coach for the Northwest Seattle Tour. No food allowed on any of our other tours however. Please help keep our beautiful trolleys clean and throw your trash away.
How long is my tour pass available?
Your 1-Day pass is valid for the specific date that you chose when purchasing your ticket. Two-day passes are valid for two consecutive or non-consecutive days. All other tour tickets are valid 1-Day only unless otherwise noted.
How do I get on the northwest seattle Tour and When do I board?
This route is REALLY popular and because of that we require you to have a specific departure time and date.
If you wish to book the Northwest Seattle Tour only then you may pick your departure time at checkout. You will be emailed a confirmation email with all tour details. Show this to our staff upon boarding at the EMP.
If you purchase a Downtown Seattle and Northwest Seattle Combo online, you will be given a specific departure time and sent a final confirmation email with all your tour details. Show this to our staff upon boarding at the MoPop Museum.
All tickets can be booked simply via the Reservation line as well; call us with questions!
No departure date and time require for the Downtown Seattle Hop-On/Hop-Off Tour Only.
I have a two-Day Pass, how am I going to make this wristband last?
Great question! We suggest you store it in a safe place (pocket, wallet, purse) and bring it out only when asked by a staff member. If you need a replacement, bring your Activity Voucher to any staff member. If you no longer have your confirmation email, call 855-313-3456.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes! We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card as well as Debit Cards. We do not accept cash or American Express. If you must use cash we recommend purchasing the tickets from the Argosy Visitor Center on Pier 55 or at the Space Needle Attractions Desk.
Are pets allowed on board if they are in a carrier?
No pets are allowed on board the trolley or mini coach unless they are a certified Guide Dog or Service Animal.
Do I have to start the Downtown seattle hop-on/hop-off Tour at the first stop or can I join any time along the route?
Feel free to hop on or off at any stop within this route but be sure to have your wristband available to show the guide when hopping back on.
What about the northwest seattle Tour?
You must begin the Northwest Seattle Tour at our main tour hub located at the MoPop Museum at 325 5th Ave North Seattle, WA.

There are so many sights to experience in Seattle, our most popular tour stops and photo opportunities are:
Downtown Seattle Hop-on/Hop-Off Tour: Space Needle, Pioneer Square, Waterfront and Pike Place Market.
Northwest Seattle Tour: Amazon Spheres, MOHAI, University of Washington, Fremont Troll, Kerry Park Overlook, Ballard Locks.
But keep in mind there are MANY things to see and do at each stop that are sure to thrill and delight!

We offer discounts to Senior Citizen, Military and Children under the age of 12. Be prepared to show State ID to staff member.
